Victims of Violence Intervention Program
A client came to Artemis House through a referral from Behavior Health. The young woman was a victim of sexual assault and violence in the home. During her brief stay it was learned she was a victim of multiple forms of abuse and possible sex trafficking. She stayed with us a few months, attended counseling, and began her healing journey. Her advocate provided a referral to OneHeart and Call to Freedom so she can continue to receive comprehensive support for a longer period of time. Her healing journey will extend longer than most due to her past traumas.
