A man from Spearfish recently applied for repairs on his vehicle. Our director contacted the man to schedule his repair, and their conversation informed our director that the client was going to have a difficult time bringing his vehicle in for one of our Volunteer Repair Nights as he works evenings. After chatting a little more, the client shared that his wife was at the hospital in Rapid City, and he would be in town from time to time to visit her. Given the circumstances, we were able to coordinate another time that worked for both our client and the volunteers to repair our client’s vehicle, getting our client back on the road within a couple of days. Repairs don’t always happen quickly in the automotive world, but thanks to God and our wonderful volunteers, we were able to make a difference in our client’s life when he needed it most.
