2-1-1 Helpline Center
Looking for homemaker services for his elderly mother, a son who was visiting from Minnesota dialed 211 to find possible resources.
The 211 Specialist asked various clarifying questions in order to fully understand the needs of the family and provide the most appropriate referrals. The caller expressed feeling better about having to leave his mom again soon to go home, knowing there were options he could look into that would help her.
