A young woman recently reached out for assistance with her water bill after experiencing a brief period of unemployment. Although she had recently secured a new job and was working hard to regain financial stability, her rent increased around the same time, making it difficult to keep up with all of her expenses. While prioritizing her housing costs, she fell behind on her water bill and was concerned about maintaining essential utilities. Through our program, we were able to provide assistance to bring her account current, helping relieve immediate financial stress and allowing her to continue focusing on maintaining employment and stable housing.
