Mary has attended school to become a licensed Esthetician. Throughout her schooling, this single mother balanced being a parent, working part-time during limited free time, and commuting daily to in-person classes. All with the goal of finding a rewarding career where she could continue to grow and create a meaningful experience for others. During her time with the UP program, she continued to thrive with encouragement, especially when she was feeling unsure about her path. Recently, this participant graduated and gained employment at a local spa. Through her schooling and this employment opportunity, she has been encouraged with continued growth ideas and recently began researching what it may take to create her own business to work independently while staying connected to the spa.
