Catholic Social Services – Uplifting Parents
Jane has been with the Uplifting Parents program for approximately thirteen months. During biweekly mentoring sessions, her mentor helped her with goal setting and navigating the demands of higher education as a single mother of two. This participant was accepted into a new nursing cohort offered in Rapid City, and her mentor provided support, guidance, and reassurance as she took on challenging nursing courses. She is on track to complete her RN degree in Spring 2026, a milestone that will bring her one step closer to expanding her existing Esthetician services. Her educational plans do not end there; she plans to return to college in Fall 2026 to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with the long-term goal of opening a medical spa that combines her nursing and esthetics expertise.
