Your Generosity in Action

At the Boys and Girls Club in Lead/Deadwood, there were three brothers who experienced explosive anger and a lack of self-confidence. As time went on, the three boys began to understand that they were loved and cherished by the staff at the Club. They slowly became more confident in themselves, more capable of handling their emotions and began to see their own full potential.

By partnering with the United Way of the Black Hills, you are also partnering with the Club for Boys and Girls in Lead/Deadwood. Your generosity helps to enable after-school and child care programs to serve more children in Lead/Deadwood, which help children realize their full potential.

This is just one story of one life changed. UWBH supports more than 40 different nonprofits serving the Black Hills and each one has hundreds of stories of lives changed thanks to your donation to UWBH.
