Women Escaping a Violent Environment (WEAVE)
WEAVE assisted a survivor who was almost killed several times by her boyfriend with advocacy, counseling, shelter, clothes for new employment. She had been in counseling, which helped save her life.
The counselor convinced her to call for help and get away. WEAVE assisted her with shelter, safety, substance abuse assistance and more counseling and she is growing and staying sober and has a job she enjoys. She has even tried to assist other women get to safety and shelter.
