Working Against Violence Inc (WAVI) — Project THRIVE
Client came into WAVI seeking shelter services due to fleeing a domestic violence situation with no safe place to go.
The client’s goal was to stay sober, find housing, and save money. The case manager worked with the client consistently on budgeting, mental health services, and transitional housing.
WAVI was able to assist the client in receiving her documentation, resources for employment, and support groups. Due to the services WAVI provided, the client has their own apartment for the first time in 20 years living on their own.
Client continues to utilize WAVI out-of-shelter services and was recently promoted at work. Their goal is to become a manager and continue staying sober.
