Western South Dakota Community Action-Skill building in Food Security
My success story begins with a young woman that came in to see me. She had just moved here for a new job as a manager of a Dollar General. When she got here, she was told by management at the Dollar Store that she was they could not hire her. They had to hire a minority, according to them. So, when she came in obviously, she was distraught she had no home, no job and no family. We set up goals and a plan and within 3 days she had a job, a home and had met all of her goals for the whole year.
