Fork Real Community Café Inc-Improving Quality of Life through Food Access and Workforce Development

Meet Lucas, He found Fork Real through volunteer opportunities for his homeschool group two years ago. He and his mom began volunteering together at the cafe helping with food prep and delivering weekly lunches to Zion Lutheran School. Lucas has a great personality and likes to engage with people (we think it’s a natural gift.). Last summer, Lucas expanded his job training schools with our food truck events. He was the face of Fork Real during family food truck nights and other community events. The food truck not only serves as a social enterprise, it also serves as another training tool for students and young adults, Lucas has experienced personal growth at Fork Real and is not afraid to share his heart and experiences at public events. IF we could clone Lucas, we would.
