Prairie Hills Transit – Prairie Hills Child Care
This fall and winter during times when public school was closed (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, etc) there was a low-income family whose daycare followed the school calendar. This put the single mom who worked in the hospitality industry in a bind. She couldn't take the whole 13 days off the school was closed, especially during busy hotel times. We were able to accept her son as a drop-in student to help her be able to still attend work.
