Western South Dakota Community Action – Skillbuilding in Food Security
Dear Desiree & The Western South Dakota Community Action Group,
I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the generous assistance provided to my family and me through Western South Dakota Community Action. The approval of rent and utility assistance for the months of December, January, and February, along with the additional resources you have shared, has been an incredible blessing during a very challenging time in our lives.
The rental and utility assistance have not only provided us with financial stability but also peace of mind. This support has allowed my family to focus on our well-being and create a secure environment for our children.
The Section 8 housing application, LIHEAP information, and DSS resources have also opened doors to other avenues of support, which will help us move toward long-term stability.
I especially want to take a moment to highlight how wonderful Desiree has been throughout this process. Her kindness, understanding, and dedication have made a significant difference in our experience. She has gone above and beyond to ensure we felt supported, and her helpfulness has brought us comfort and reassurance during this time.
Desiree’s compassion has truly touched our hearts, and we are so thankful for her. This assistance has truly made a profound impact on our lives. It has alleviated the stress of meeting our basic needs and given us the opportunity to work toward improving our situation.
