For one young child in the Northern Hills, the path from a residential facility to an adoptive home has been filled with uncertainty — but also with unwavering support, thanks to a dedicated CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) volunteer.
This CASA has gone far beyond expectations, not only offering transportation for sibling visits and advocating for family services, but also helping the adoptive parents gain confidence through parenting suggestions and encouragement. He’s ensured the family feels empowered and supported as they prepare to provide a permanent, loving home.
Most importantly, he’s brought joy to the child’s life through consistent presence and care. From adventures to the park, Storybook Island, Reptile Gardens, and mountain hikes to attending air shows and car shows — he’s created lasting memories and a deep sense of stability. During a time of major change, he has been a steady, trusted figure.
