C.O.R.E.- Community Organized Resources for Educating Youth-Freshman Impact
Rapid City teens who attended a Freshman Impact teen risk-reduction program last year stated the following on program evaluations: “I will encourage my friends to not drink and drive.” “It will give me a long-lasting vision of what not to do and how it will affect lives.” “I learned that drugs can affect you in multiple ways.” “To always think before I act about stuff to do with alcohol and driving.” “Now that I know how severe the outcomes of our actions are, I will make sure I am extra cautious and always think about what I do.” “I will never drink and drive.” “I will use the 5 Strategies when I make decisions.”
