United Way funding has made a profound difference in the life of a 10-year-old client who is working to heal from trauma, manage ADHD symptoms, and build healthier relationships with her family and friends. With access to consistent therapy sessions, she has developed a stronger sense of focus and control, learning how her choices and actions influence her life experiences. The grant has also enabled her to explore practical strategies for managing her ADHD symptoms, fostering better focus, emotional regulation, and self-awareness. Additionally, she has been guided in understanding the importance of repairing ruptures in relationships, practicing how to apologize meaningfully, and rebuilding trust with loved ones. Her progress reflects not only her resilience, but also the critical role this funding plays in helping her grow into a confident, compassionate, and emotionally equipped young person.
